Mental Health Clinician - Raleigh County

 

FMRS has full time positions, located in Beckley WV to provide services for adults with behavioral health and/or substance abuse issues. These positions will work as members of a treatment team, ensuring the provision of quality services in treatment programs.  Positions are available at the Crisis Stabilization Unit and Substance Abuse Treatment Programs (SUD).

SUD Outpatient Therapist & Coordinator

 

These are uniquely rewarding positions for those interested in working in a professional team environment.  Selected candidates will provide assessment, individual and group therapy, including services required for those receiving Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), to a wide range of individuals with SUD, Co-Occurring and Behavioral Health diagnoses.  Supervisory and program administration duties are also available for qualified candidates in the SUD Outpatient Services Coordinator position.

SUD Outpatient Therapist

First Episode Psychosis (FEP) Service Coordinator

 

FMRS Health Systems, Inc. located in Beckley, WV has a position for a First Episode Psychosis (FEP) Service Coordinator. The FEP Service Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating care for people ages 15-25 with emerging psychotic disorders, using an integrated and comprehensive community team approach. The FEP Coordinator will work within The Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) model, which has an emphasis on outreach, assessment, treatment, community resources, supportive employment/education, health promotion, and advocacy.  This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service Related Field and experience working with individuals, teams and conducting community outreach. The FEP Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating meetings, developing a network of community resources, developing awareness in community through education and training for providers, families, and individuals, and ensuring, through supportive and preventative services, that individuals can live securely in the community of their choice.

 REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:

Regional Youth Recovery Specialist (RYRS)

 

The Regional Youth Recovery Specialist will be relevant to the youth population we serve by way of lived experience. The RYRS will provide peer mentoring for youth diagnosed with a behavioral health condition, support development of SADD chapters and other youth support groups across Region 6, participate as a key member of the Regional Youth Service Center providing the team with the youth perspective, and provide recovery support via facilitation of evidence based models. While a BA level staff would be preferred, a high school level individual with excellent communication skills will be seriously considered. The RYRS will be expected to complete certification as a recovery coach. (Individuals seeking this position will be expected to relate their lived experience in their cover letter.)

Children’s Mobile Crisis Specialist

 

FMRS has a Children’s Mobile Crisis Specialist position open located in Raleigh County. The Children’s Mobile Crisis Specialist will participate on the Mobile Crisis Response Team for Raleigh County.  The Crisis Specialist is required to have at least a bachelor’s degree in a human services field and a valid WV driver’s license.  Experience working with children and families is preferred.  The Crisis Specialist will be expected to assess and respond to children and families in the community who are experiencing behavioral health crisis.  The Crisis Specialist will be an integral member of FMRS’ children’s services; sharing the mission of serving children within their homes and community.

Registered Nurse – R.N.

 

We are preparing to fill two positions in our Raleigh County office. These include a Clinic R.N. who will perform the duties of a Registered Nurse to consumers with SUD, Co-Occurring and Behavioral Health diagnoses in a clinic setting. Work directly with prescribing physicians to provide the most efficient use of physician time and services.  Primarily located in Raleigh County clinic located in Beckley. May be assigned to work in other sites to cover as needed.

The second is our ACT R.N. who works with a team of professionals providing behavioral health services to high risk consumers residing in the community.  The individual will serve as a team member on an ACT (Assertive Community Treatment Team). This position is based in the Raleigh County office and requires home visits to individuals who live within close proximity to the office.  Other requirements include participation in daily team meetings and treatment team meetings, monitoring medications, completing assessments and administering injections as ordered.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

·         RN License in good standing & licensed to practice nursing in the State of WV
·         Psychiatric nursing experience preferred (clinic); 2 years required (ACT)
·         Valid Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle
·         Strong, professional work ethic

·         Applicant must be willing to work in the community (ACT only)
·         Normal work hours being Monday through Friday with requiring on call responsibilities on a rotating basis (Clinic RN doesn’t have on-call)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE:

·   Provides service coordination
·   Plans, develops and implements activities for participants in residential substance abuse treatment programs.
·   Develops activity plans to strengthen the systems in place that support each individual’s recovery.
·   Works as part of a team of professionals integrating treatment addressing co-occurring physical and mental health as well as substance use disorders.
·   Scheduled hours will vary. Some evening/weekend work.
