SUD Outpatient Therapist & Coordinator

 

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our growing Outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Program in Beckley, WV.  These are uniquely rewarding positions for those interested in working in a professional team environment.  Selected candidates will provide assessment, individual and group therapy, including services required for those receiving Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), to a wide range of individuals with SUD, Co-Occurring and Behavioral Health diagnoses.  Supervisory and program administration duties are also available for qualified candidates in the SUD Outpatient Services Coordinator position.

Available positions are:

SUD Outpatient Therapist

·         Must possess a minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology and a Master’s level license or be licensure eligible.  Salary is negotiable based on experience and credentials (e.g. ADC, AADC).  Must Possess a Valid WV Driver’s License

SUD Outpatient Services Coordinator (Supervisory Position)

I/DD Waiver Service Coordinator

 

This opportunity is a uniquely rewarding and challenging position for an individual interested in working with a team of professionals, providing I/DD Waiver services across residential, community, and office environments.

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Ensures accessibility, accountability, and continuity of support and services for I/DD Waiver consumers
  • Expected to provide assessment, advocacy, linkage/referral and planning services for their consumers
  • Works in the consumer’s environment, as well as, in the office, and is required to travel on a regular basis

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service-Related Field
  • Experience in the I/DD Field Preferred
  • Social Work License Preferred

Community Integration Specialists

 

FMRS Health Systems, Inc. located in Beckley, WV has an opening in Raleigh County for a Community Integration Specialists.  This position is primarily responsible for service coordination and the planning and development of activities that support recovery for participants in FMRS’ Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Programs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service Related Field
  • Must Possess Valid WV Driver’s License
  • Access to a Personal Vehicle

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE:

·   Provides service coordination
·   Plans, develops and implements activities for participants in residential substance abuse treatment programs.
·   Develops activity plans to strengthen the systems in place that support each individual’s recovery.
·   Works as part of a team of professionals integrating treatment addressing co-occurring physical and mental health as well as substance use disorders.
·   Scheduled hours will vary. Some evening/weekend work.

Peer Recovery Coach

 

FMRS Health Systems, Inc. located in Beckley, WV has received new grant funding and are excited about Peer Recovery Coach positions open in Raleigh County.  Peer Recovery Coaches initiate and sustain individuals in recovery and promote individuals’ recovery by acting as a guide/mentor for overcoming personal and environmental obstacles that jeopardize their recovery. They also help individuals discover, access and utilize ways to remain drug and alcohol free or reduce the harm associated with their substance use behaviors; find resources for harm reduction, detoxification, treatment, family support and education, and local or online support groups; and create a change plan for their recovery.

Duties and responsibilities include:

·   Assisting in the development of an individual recovery action plan.
·   Facilitating peer support groups.
·   Assisting in navigating community resources.
·   Educating and supporting individuals in creating a plan for their recovery.

 Qualifications: 

·         High school diploma or GED.

  • Must have personal knowledge and experience in substance use disorders and recovery (minimum 1 year).
  • Must Possess Valid WV Driver’s License
  • Access to a Reliable Vehicle

·         Certification for Peer Recovery Coach required within 1 year
